O'Sensei Trias (1923-1989) A World War II Veteran, is credited with opening the first karate dojo in America, where he shared the knowledge of Shuri Ryu.

Hanshi Pachivas (1926-2000) was a martial arts pioneer who opened Florida's first karate dojo in the 1950's. A champion fighter and mentor, he helped shape American karate.

Hanshi Donna Judge began her Karate career in 1973 and is the senior instructor of the Suncoast Karate Dojo in Sarasota, Florida. She opened her first dojo in 1976.
She was a student under Hanshi John Pachivas and is Shihan Schroeder's instructor. Hanshi Judge has devoted herself shole heartedly to training and sharing her kararte knowledge, making her an invaluable link to the Karate-Do you train.
Currently, Hanshi Donna Judge is a 9th Degree in Shuri Ryu Karatedo. She also holds the title of . Assistant Chief Instructor of Shuri Ryu Karete-Do

Sensei Stephen Schroeder, is a 6th degree blackbelt and has been teaching karate for 38 years. He has also been teaching students with disabilities (ESE) in VCS schools for 28 years. Sensei Schroeder specializes in student mental, physical, and character development while creating an atmosphere that is fun and energizing.
